Attorney Ruth L. Seroussi

Ruth Seroussi represents clients in both state and federal courts. She has represented California and nationwide employers in the mortgage lending, retail, apparel, manufacturing, hospitality and entertainment industries in all aspects of employee relations, including: preparing employment policies and handbooks, negotiating and preparing employment and severance agreements, training managers and supervisors in discrimination and harassment issues, and defending employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets matters. She also provides advice and counsel on day-to-day personnel issues. Additionally, Ruth has extensive experience representing mortgage lenders and restaurants in wage and hour class actions and California's unfair competition laws.

Ruth received her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations in 1992 from Cornell University and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 1995, where she was an editor of the Environmental Law Journal.

In addition to California state courts, Ruth is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California and is a member of the State Bar of California. She is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of California, and serves as Vice President of the Venice Arts' Board of Directors.

Ruth lives in Venice with her husband Mike, son Holden, and dogs Bianca, Jed and Cashew. She is an active traveler, hiker and outdoor enthusiast.
